In our Junior Kindy room friendships and cooperative play skills are developing rapidly. Toilet training is being perfected and our quest for knowledge extended.
Our Junior Kindy program offers positive experiences through lots of hands on learning. Children of this age are starting to seek out and accept new challenges, make new discoveries and celebrate their own efforts and achievements as well as those of others.
Learning environments are provided to encourage your child to explore and experiment safely. Educators work with each child to understand their development and extend them through achievable challenges. We also use resources and opportunities for children to begin exploring during play.
Our educators will continue to work in partnership with you, sharing information about your child’s personality, development and daily routine. Educators will model communication strategies to support children to initiate interactions and join in play and social experiences in ways that sustain positive relationships with other children. Learning environments are organized in ways that promote small group interactions and play experiences which ensure that all children experience pride in their attempts and achievements.
All educators challenge and support children to engage in tasks and enjoy play.
