We pride ourselves on providing a safe stimulating environment for your child to learn and develop important milestones through play. Working alongside families ensures that your child’s routine here at the centre is followed as much as we can to their home routines.
Before starting at our Centre we encourage parents and children to visit us a few times to familiarise your family with staff before their first day. We find families that come and visit for an hour or so each time works well as this gives you an idea of routines and how things operate. This is a lovely way to build relationships with the educators and the other children in a relaxed way. This also provides an opportunity for staff to chat with parents about the routine of their child, likes and dislikes.
The centre provides food for your child throughout the day. Babies are offered a variety of fruit/ pureed fruits, mashed/pureed vegetables (potato, carrot, pumpkin and sweet potato) which are cooked at the centre, custard/ yoghurt and sandwiches – when developmentally appropriate.
A separate air conditioned sleep area is provided with large glass viewing windows.
We believe that a smooth and slow transition will help ease children into their new environment and make families feel more at ease.
